Hot melt adhesive for flooring applications
Our flooring adhesives are formulated to provide a fast and simple alternative to nails and tacks used for applying flooring. Cost effective and easy to use, tackfix adhesives are less expensive than epoxys, which set to a hard finish, but don’t allow for thermal expansion of the flooring.
Tackfix 48 is a high-tack adhesive suitable for use on various flooring materials such as metal, ceramic, stone, wood, brick, concrete, tiles, plastics and fibre cement board. The glue sets in less than a minute once compressed, and forms a strong, stable bond.
Tackfix 180 is a high strength, flooring-suitable construction adhesive with a long open time. The adhesive allows the bonded substrates to be adjusted (even after compression) for up to 3 minutes. Tackfix 180 provides a tough but flexible bond which allows expansion and movement of materials once set.
Tackfix flooring adhesives are suitable for gripper, laminate flooring starter strips, thresholds, quadrants, and carpet repairs.
